India
In this South Asian nation, we support several sewing schools that minister to low-income women in one of India's largest cities. These schools are facilitated by our on-the-ground coordinator Pransanthi. All of our scarves, Kantha jewelry, and crochet items are made in India.
Ghana
In Ghana, Women of Hope focuses on supporting women in vocational school and providing them with "toolboxes" to start their businesses after graduation. All of the shea products are sourced from a local co-op supported by Women of Hope. While most store brands only contain 5-10% shea, our products contain between 30-80% shea.
Kenya
After a local business training conference, a Women & Orphan's group in Oyaro, Kenya began weaving baskets. All of the woven purses, totes, baskets, and trivets are handcrafted by this group of ladies.
